As the world lost faith on US$, investors and world’s central banks are only buying US treasury for 1 year terms or less! US treasury supposed to be backed by the full faith of the US Gov’t. Since US Gov’t never repay her debts just kept issuing new treasury to cover old ones and interest like a Ponzi scam. The world has lost faith in US$. But at this time China Govt is issuing Chinese treasury bond for 30 and 50 years. Investors are flocking buying it because investors have more faith on the future of China and not US as many of my clients are also repositioning their US$ outside of US and sell off some of their US$ based investment portfolios. As US$ expect to lose value in the coming years when central banks throughout the world are losing faith in US Gov’t with mounting debt now stood at 35 trillions, Chinese yuan expects to increase in value. Chinese treasuries not only back by the full faith of the Chinese Government, also back by major Chinese projects in belt and roads, science and technologies, AI and etc. The cutting edge technologies expect to surpass US by 2030. Chinese treasuries could be bought by Chinese, HKSAR and and Macau residents only.
