Chinese engineers/scientists:
*Invented the logic design for the electronic computers (ENIAC, UNIVAC)
*Invented RAM memory (WANG labs)
*Invented ROM memory (PROM chips)
*Helped develop chip miniaturization
*Invented CMOS integrated chips
*Popularized GPU’s (NVIDIA’s AI chips)
*Invented the fin field-effect transistor (FinFET; allows nano-miniaturized chip circuits)
*Invented Computer vision training (Image Net; a key aspect of machine learning)
In other words, they built the pillars of the entire industry: They invented computer processors, computer memory (RAM, ROM), developed chip miniaturization, and key aspects of machine learning, But like the infamous picture of the Railroad, Chinese were erased from the picture.
Not mentioned here, but a Chinese engineer also invented internet search (Search algorithm optimization), which Google stole–without which the internet would be mostly a jumbled mess of irretrievable and unusable information.
By pretending that Chinese had nothing to do with it, and by scaring them back to China, the US is giving up its technological dominance which the Chinese built: the greatest own goal in human technological history.
