Dear inquisitive minds of Chinese Culture and History,
I thought I’d share with you something I am passionate about sharing with the public.
The 75th Anniversary of the Narcissus Festival sponsored by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce has already begun. Included in the 75th Festival, are 5 Culture Class Series that’s open to the public.
This is truly a rare educational opportunity for cultural enrichment of Chinese Culture and Heritage. Instructors will share their knowledge in their field of expertise. I started the many Chinese cultural classes for the Narcissus Contestants over 30 years ago and now some of it is being shared to the public for the first and only time during the 75th. These classes will not be recorded so therefore you don’t want to miss out on this.
For the 1st Cultural Series class on History and Culture, the deadline has been extended to October 23. If you’ve never heard Douglas Chong, he’s a dynamic speaker and is so knowledgeable and worth listening to.
The classes start October 26 and will end in April.
A nominal fee must be received to reserve a seat. Classes are very limited so reserve your seat quickly!
Please feel free to share these classes with family and friends.
Michele Choy
75th Anniversary Chair
