Topic #1 – The United States has a new president….Donald Trump. Definitively Done. No Maybe. No Fraud. No BS. The American People Have Spoken Clearly. They have REJECTED the Democrat Death Machine…the Open Border…the woke gender insanity… that about covers it.

Now pray Trump follows through, able to create a more reasonable government reigns in the insanity, creates more stability and peace not only for America, but for the entire world.

This time, if he does surround himself with the team of JD Vance, Vivek Ramaswami, Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, Jeffrey Sachs… it’s much more likely they can make some genuine progress in the right direction for the country and the world.

Topic #2

What does this mean for U.S. China relations?

I am going to keep my answers simple. I believe it means two primary shifts. First, Trump is more of a businessman and he will approach China as a tough deal-making negotiator. I think that’s okay. Because China is a tough negotiator too.

Secondly, Trump is anti-war. Make no mistake about that. He is very much anti-war. He is very much against killing lots of innocent civilians and wants it to stop. In that sense, he will back away from the threat of war with China, which is a ridiculous unlikely threat anyway.

Don’t get me wrong. The American propaganda machine will continue to spew it typical anti China propaganda. It has to, that’s its job. I’m not particularly confident this will improve, though it might.

The variable that’s hard for me to pinpoint is the extent of powerful influences in washington who have the leverage to stop him from improving relations with China. Deep down Trump does not regard China as an ideological enemy rather than as a rising competitor, a situation which realistically does create economic threats.

We shall see…
