If you are making US$200,000/year for 40 years till retirement = US$8,000,000 after tax of 40% = US$4,800,000 and that is assuming you have a job for 40 years as AI will eliminate many of the jobs in coming years, all professions, no exceptions! What are you going to tell your kids in high schools about to enter college? How about your kids that are engineers, lawyers, doctors, accountants, pharmacist and etc as 50% of the jobs expected to be replaced or substantially reduced by AI.

What about if your kids are not AngloSaxon or Jews in US? I can tell you it is going to be worst especially if you are Chinese.

When my grandfather and father grew up in HK in the late 1800 and early 1900 who experienced 2 world wars, Korean and Vietnam wars, nothing change much for decades.

When I was born in the 1950s, things do not change much until 1980s with the introduction of personal computers.

Today things changed in months, look at Huawei, US was so confidence that they could kill the company and kidnapped the founder’s daughter (same tactics employed by US on the tariffs war today) Huawei not only not died, come back stronger than ever before (US just never study history or learn the lessons).

In the coming years, China will be leaders in science and technology. US will be follower at best. The 7 sisters who keep

the US stock markets high already ran out of steam. Even Warren Buffett lose confidence in US stocks market and US dollars. Both could collapse before 2030.

It is quite obvious my grandfather and father could not foresee the changes. But they are smart by telling us two things: 1) Don’t stuck our head in the sand, travel and watch the happening around the world. China was sick at the time due to weak Ching Dynasty and lost HK to British because of the opium wars, but China will rise, so don’t forget our Chinese roots; 2) They would not mind to have smart kids that are lazy, can’t stands kids that are lacking EQ.

Their teaching since 1875 still hold true today.

如果你的孩子不是白人或美國的猶太人呢？我可以告訴你，情況會更糟，尤其是如果你是中國人。

我的祖父和父親在19世紀末20世紀初在香港長大，經歷了兩次世界大戰、韓戰和越戰，幾十年來一切都沒有太大改變。

我出生於上世紀50年代，直到80年代個人電腦的出現，情況才有了很大變化。

如今，任何情況可以在幾個月內就發生了變化，看看華為。美國曾經如此自信，以至於可以扼殺這家公司，甚至綁架其創始人的女兒（這與美國在今天的關稅戰中使用的策略如出一轍）。華為不僅沒有倒閉，反而比以往任何時候都更強大（美國祇是從來不研究歷史，不吸取教訓，今次保證又哀收尾)!

未來幾年，中國將在科技領域引領世界。美國充其量只能做個追蹤者。支撐美國股市高點的七姊妹已經失去動力。就連華倫巴菲特也對美國股市和美元失去了信心。兩者都可能在2030年之前崩潰。

很明顯，我的祖父和父親無法預見這些變化。但他們很聰明，告訴我們兩件事：1）不要把頭埋在沙裡，去旅行，觀察世界各地正在發生的事。當時中國病入膏肓，清朝衰亡，鴉片戰爭又將香港割讓給英國，但中國終將崛起，所以不要忘記我們的中華根基；2）他們不介意聰明懶惰的孩子，但無法忍受缺乏情商的孩子。

他們自1875年以來的教學理念至今依然有效.
