I met this remarkable 75 years old lady in Guangzhou today

I met this remarkable 75 years old lady in Guangzhou today and she has a touching story to tell about China Cultural Revolution. If I stop here, you probably think she is another Chinese bitching about and demonizing China. You are wrong!

I heard her story over Chinese dim sum breakfast 2 hours before I need to check out from the hotel and catch the high speed train in Guangzhou to return to my home sweet home in HK (speaking about China, do you know what is inner peace? To me inner peace is a place that you are free to go around 24/7 without fear for your life, unlike we are in the United States, fearful for our lives 24/7)

I asked if she would mind for me to interview her with her face and full name, she said not a problem.

She was sent to the country side in 1967 like millions of young persons during the cultural revolution. She was sent to Hainan Island for 6 years to plant rubber tree needed for make tires in China. US and her cronies had an embargo on China to make sure Chinese suffered (sound familiar to you?)

Millions of young people loved Chairman Mao. He was and still is the best for China according to her. She has never hated Chairman Mao nor any bitter feeling towards him. She said Chairman Mao did the right thing.

When I returned to Guangzhou again later this year, I am planning to interview her so she can tell her full story.
