I’m currently watching “The Fading Gold,” a popular TV series. It’s a great example of a negative impact. It’s a classic example of the problems faced by entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals: why is it that wealth doesn’t last beyond three generations? Of course, you may not have friends like this or grow up in such a family, but the principle of “people die for wealth, birds die for food” is an ancient law. The best approach is to have your assets managed by a respected professional, not your own children. For example, a joint trusteeship of your bank’s trust department, your descendants, and an accountant can protect your assets. Of course, there are management fees, but if you do nothing, the problem could be even more serious. Losing more than you gain, your descendants could end up with nothing. I don’t think anyone wants to see that. I recommend everyone, whether wealthy or ordinary, watch this series. Available in Mandarin and Cantonese, think about the challenges your loved ones, friends, or even family members have faced, or are facing. Many Hong Kong TVB series are incredibly realistic and entertaining, showcasing the diverse aspects of life and the most sinister aspects of people, including those closest to you and your best friends.
Let me add one more thing: if you’re not fortunate enough to be in Hong Kong or Singapore, but unfortunately, you’re in the US, remember to do one more thing: move at least half of your assets out of the US, and convert at least half of your US dollar assets into gold or RMB. If you ask me why, it’s because many wealthy people in the US, both Chinese and white, are doing this! One advantage of the wealthy is that their information is more accurate and faster than that of ordinary people. They absolutely won’t go against money! Would you go against money?

Fang Yangtian (Roger Kwok) leads the multi-billion dollar Fang family business empire. His three sons are devoted and caring, making him a family known for their generosity. One day, Yangtian is involved in a car accident. Upon recovery, he returns with a woman named Lin Cheng (Chen Xiaohua) and announces three major events: 1. He will marry this young woman, thirty years his junior. 2. He will establish a trust for the family assets, leaving his own inheritance in vain. 3. The trust will be managed by a joint family office, executor Gao Shen (Luo Ziyi), a rival of the Fang family. This incident shakes up the Fang family. Yangtian’s three sons persuade their grandmother to file a lawsuit to overturn the trust. Yangtian, who values the family’s honor more than his own life, refuses to yield, even suing his mother and falling out with his sons. He vows to uncover the culprit behind the Fang family car accident.
