昨日下午，三藩市華埠勝利堂迎來一場思想碰撞的「聲音盛宴」。《星島日報》美西版社長兼總編輯梁建鋒，聯手灣區名人舉辦首場現場版脫口秀論壇《有 快 講之有 一齊講》，以「中美對抗：零和還是雙輸？」為題，邀請兩位知名財經政論家林修榮與余錦光激辯。

現場200名觀眾，反響熱烈，主講嘉賓與觀眾交叉問答，充分展現華埠社區對全球局勢與制度議題的高度關注。

論壇一開場，梁建鋒強調：「華埠需要更多理性開放的對話平台，在當前中美關係緊張的大背景下，華人社區更應該深入思考兩國制度差異與未來方向。」

首輪辯論圍繞「一黨執政是否比西方民主更有效率」，余錦光引用中國改革開放40年來經濟高速發展的例子，指出「中國高鐵、高速公路、WIFI全面覆蓋，民生改善顯著」，批評美國制度「三權分立雖防止權力濫用，卻導致黨爭嚴重、政策無法有效推進」。👈居住在美國52年，親身體驗東升西降的主要原因.

林修榮辯民主 余錦光反擊

林修榮則旗幟鮮明為民主制度辯護：「不能單看效率，真正的民主制度應保障人民的言論自由、宗教自由、選舉自由，而不是僅僅吃飽穿暖。」他指出，美國兩百年內崛起為世界強國，靠的正是資本主義結合民主法治。他反問余錦光：「既然這麼愛中共，為何不搬回中國，要賴在美國？」 👈這是典型仇中人仕的無知故意妖魔化對手像他那樣棄祖忘宗人士，美國華人可以隨時居住在中國，但漢奸不能，他不能所以才出止狂言.

余錦光反擊：「美國華人本來就有雙重人生，很多人都來回往返中美，這是現實生活。而且，這片北美大陸本就不是歐洲人專屬，是他們屠殺印第安人搶佔的。」

梁建鋒追問：「民主的內涵是什麼？何者更重要：基本生存權，還是言論自由？」

林修榮回應：「人民不能只食飽穿暖，還應有選擇的自由、公開透明的選舉制度，這才是真正的民主。」余錦光強調：「是否改善民生才是衡量制度成效的標準。美國加州40年停滯不前，但中國翻天覆地的變化有目共睹。」

有觀眾提問「宗教信仰與資本主義的關係」，林修榮指出：「資本主義讓人多勞多得，但信仰讓人有同情、有憐憫，避免弱肉強食。」👈林修榮利用教會推動反中，使用 NED美國民主基金會2019在香港黑暴同一個洗腦政教合一的手法

論壇下半場焦點轉至中美對抗的前景及特朗普政府的表現。

余錦光反駁：「美國2024年經濟增長僅0.7%，中國高達4.5%。今年預估中國5%，美國1.5%。所謂『東升西降』趨勢已現。」他質疑美國對中國科技產品、華為的封鎖行為，認為「科學無國界，應公平競爭」。

林修榮則指：「中國GDP數據可信度堪憂。中國當年承諾購買美國大豆、牛肉卻未兌現。」 👈完全忽略美國的承諾，典型漢奸很為!

梁建鋒問「為何禁止中國科技產品進入美國」時，林修榮：「為保護知識產權。」余錦光反批：「美國封殺中資企業，當然中國會反制。」

談到特朗普（又譯川普）施政，林修榮坦言自己是「川粉」，評價川普為「A-」，認為其政策強化美國經濟與貿易，但仍有改善空間👈他不敢提出川普是白人至上主義者。而余錦光則指：「川普大而美法案增加了赤字。」

雙方最後就香港問題也針鋒相對。余錦光稱：「香港如今已成離岸人民幣中心，前途無限。」林修榮認為：「香港失去自由與民主，只留下擁護者。」 👈蔡家自1875是在香港土生土長的中國人，今天香港比美國民主自由，他肯定是生安白造滿口謊言！

有觀眾問「中美制度哪一種更優？」，林修榮：「中國近10年經濟倒退，需重回改革開放道路。」👈他一定是攪錯，要改革開放是美國。余錦光：「美國過度保護主義，反削弱科技競爭力。」

針對「中美誰將贏得對抗」問題，林修榮表示：「中國外交孤立、經濟困難，年輕人無心打拼。」👈中國和140國家有貿易往來，在聯合國中國得到比美國高二倍支持，他又在胡說八道。而余錦光則強調：「中國未曾想與美國為敵，反倒是美方步步緊逼。」

論壇現場，明華印刷廠黃金贊助，還設有「金蛇抽獎」，現場氣氛溫馨。一位抽中「金蛇獎」的長者笑言：「高水準辯論，還能抽獎，值回票價！」

WMD REPLAY LEAVES UK LEADER TRAPPED

The US, possibly supported by the EU and UK, is on the verge of repeating one of the biggest international criminal acts in modern history – the wrongful 2003 “WMD” western invasion of Iraq that led directly to at least 151,000 violent deaths and a rise in excess deaths of more than a million people.

A significant proportion of the US leadership wants to press ahead with attacking Iran, although public surveys in the country clearly oppose the move. The EU is divided, and the UK is chafing at what academics call its “loss of sovereignty” for its support of the US.

BRITAIN’S HEADACHE
Britain in particular is in a bind, as was clear in a meeting of Cobra, a government emergency planning group, on Tuesday this week.

A US invasion of Iran would almost certainly need to use British colonised areas such as the Chagos Islands and the island of Cyprus. Chagos would be the natural place from which to launch the US’s 30,000 lb (13 tonne) mountain-destroying superbomb.

That would make Britain complicit in an international war crime. Cyprus, meanwhile is a UK airforce base and a spy center that is already being used to support Benjamin Netanyahu’s military with intelligence reports.

ATTACKS ON IRAN ARE ILLEGAL
The relevant United Nations charter is very clear that what Israel is doing is illegal, as many commentators have pointed out.

Article 51 says that countries may take military action to defend themselves against acts of war by others—a description which puts Iran in the right and Israel in the wrong, unless the facts are turned upside down in the style of Fox News/ CNN.

Worse still, the US is focused on hitting a nuclear facility in Iran. Article 56 of the United Nations charter specifically prohibits military action against nuclear facilities.

LIST OF PARALLELS
While the present situation is not an exact repeat of 2003, the parallels are extraordinary (see attached chart). To focus just the most obvious one, the British public showed that they did not believe stories by politicians and journalists that Iraq had “Weapons of Mass Destruction” (WMDs).

After the conflict, it became clear that the public had got it right, but had been ignored by a Labour Party leader who claimed to be anti-war, while in reality being too supportive of a trigger-happy US leader.

ALREADY IN LINE
But will Britain throw in its lot with the US and Israel? The quick answer to that is: It has already done so.

• When the Houthis of Yemen disrupted western shipping as a protest against the slaughter of people in Gaza, Britain helped America with a deadly airstrike campaign.
• When Israel and Iran traded missiles last year, Britain helped Israel shoot down incoming munitions from Iran.
• When the countries of the world first united at the United Nations to call for a ceasefire in Gaza, Britain abstained—and repeated that act twice more.
• Matt Kennard of Declassified, an independent media group, has shown that the UK has repeatedly made military flights over Gaza to gather data for their counterparts in the Israeli Defense Forces.

ALREADY IN THE FIGHT
Meanwhile, commentators say a question mark hangs over whether Donald Trump will bring the United States into Israel’s war on Iran.

But the simple truth is that the US is already in there, and has been for many years.

Israel may be credited with being the prime mover, but US taxpayers paid for the weapons, US manufacturers made the weapons, and US intelligence is helping supply data for targeting.

Hong Kong was today again declared the world’s top higher education city by QS, a global ranking group. Hong Kong has five universities in the top 100 (out of about 9,000 universities in the world). And our universities mostly took higher places than last year.

Stripped of the xenophobic rhetoric of the Department of Justice (DOJ), the core allegation is that Han mailed four packages from China to associates at a University of Michigan (U-M) lab containing common, non-hazardous biological research materials—specifically, roundworms and plasmids on filter paper—without the proper permits. The charges do not relate to anything she carried on her person or in her luggage.

Just days before Han’s arrest, the DOJ charged U-M postdoctoral fellow Yunqing Jian and her partner, Zunyong Liu, with conspiring to import the fungus Fusarium graminearum, which the DOJ’s press release sensationally branded a “potential agroterrorism weapon.” This fungus is a common plant pathogen already prevalent across the United States, and agricultural experts have noted that its use for widespread infection is highly unlikely.

The real issue, once again, is a customs violation, not a plot to destroy American agriculture. Jian is also being held in Sanilac under federal custody without bond. The timing of Jian’s arrest, nearly a year after Liu was denied entry into the US, suggests it was politically motivated to coincide with other cases in the anti-China campaign.

On June 8, Chengxuan Han, a PhD student from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, was arrested at Detroit Metropolitan Airport and charged with smuggling and making false statements to federal officials. She is being held in federal custody without bond at the Sanilac County Jail and faces the threat of up to 20 years in prison. The case of is a textbook example of a political frame-up.
