In June, US energy exports to China collapsed to zero in crude oil, coal, and liquefied natural gas.
That followed a similar plunge in exports of liquefied petroleum gases and propane.
Key BRICS members Russia and Iran have stepped in, and along with other Middle East trade partners easily supply China with energy previously sourced from US markets.

What is the correct way to handle up to US$15 millions of estates, especially for Chinese Americans? By Johnson Choi in SF on 8-25-2025 如何正確處理高達1500萬美元的財產,尤其是對華裔美國人來說?作者:蔡永強,舊金山,2025年8月25日
The correct approach, especially for Chinese Americans, is to move the majority of their money, the bulk of that $15 million in assets, out of the US, converting dollars into RMB and gold based assets and investing them in financial institutions outside the US Worldwide Interbank Exchange Rate System (Swift). There are several key reasons for this:
1) The US national debt currently stands at $37 trillions and could reach $47 trillion by 2030. 40% of US government revenue goes to paying interest. Because few foreign central banks are buying U.S. Treasury bonds, the United States is facing the risk of default.
2) The United States is approaching the end of the China’s Qing Dynasty conditions, convinced it can no longer compete with other countries, especially China, and is therefore implementing self-isolation, believing it can protect itself. This is actually a foolish move. Anything produced in the United States is 100-200% more expensive than in China, making American products overpriced. No one outside the United States will buy them, only Americans will.
3) The U.S. military is significantly weaker than it once was, and its previous tactics of plunder are no longer effective, so it can only survive on its own.
4) The United States is not a country, but an empire. No empire in history has survived more than 300 years, so the United States can only survive probably until 2076 at most. The final 50 years of any emperor, king, or empire are bound to be filled with constant turmoil and ultimately their demise. The current American madness is an ironclad example of this. Therefore, those have money with foresight and wisdom, especially those who study history, are taking steps to leave the United States, if not for themselves, then for their own children and grandchildren.
