How many are familiar with the European history and the God you are worshipping now? It may not be what it seems to be!

How many are familiar with the European history and the God you are worshipping now? It may not be what it seems to be! By Johnson Choi in SF 8-8-25 有多少人熟悉歐洲歷史和你現在所崇拜的上帝?它可能並非表面看起來的那樣, 蔡永強, 美國加州三藩市八月八日

I am not saying I am an expert. I did study 5 years of European history, 4 years of Chinese history as well as Asian history in the high school in HK, 6 credit hours of Asian history at the University of Hawaii.

The reason why I asked is how many wars fought in Europe solely because of religion?

Even during the era of Kings and Emperors rules Europe, religion or more specifically Catholic and Christian religion play an important role, sometime the religious power is more powerful than the Kings and Emperors.

It is the same for the Roman Empire where in the name of God, they raped, conquers, rules, taking slaves and kills.

Have you notice they are all AngloSaxons?

When this AngloSaxons started to take colonies around the world last 300 years, they brought religions, Catholic and Christian so the locals pray to the same God so these AngloSaxons could rule them like the Hawaiian Kingdom. Eventually in the name of religion, these Christian pastors married into the Kingdom’s families and stolen 70% of the prime Hawaiian real estates. “In God we Trust” destroyed their kingdom and their way of lives.

Let us go back to the modern day USA, forget about Europe, Australia, UK and Canada at this moment because they belong to the same herds!

Christianity, their God, whether Catholic or Christian do not consider people of color as God’s people. I am sure some go to Church to make friends. Some go to Churches in HK got brainwashed to engage in Subversive activities in 2019 in the name of God!

Since Western Democracy combined religion as a package to rule. Therefore in the name of God, they could murdered woman and children in Gaza. The AngloSaxton world is pretty much remain silence especially the United States even providing Israel with arms of mass destructions (2000 pounds bomb) to kill more.

For more than 500 years, western religion combined with the ruling elites never treated people of color equal. What make you think the next 500 years people of color including Chinese will be treated equal in America?

History cannot fortell future, but it can definitely tells us for Chinese we are in shit house for generations to come in the United States! Sure we can do more protest to make us feel we did something but in fact accomplish practically nothing.

The only way the AngloSaxton world shall swallow the bitter medicine to treat non-white equal is when China together with ASEAN, Middle East and Global South are more superior in military and economic power that they are force to compromise. Meanwhile, we will continue to be attacked, abused, discriminated against, our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren better get use to it.

In history we were taught what happened in the past. As father and grandfather it is our duty to teach our kids and grandkids there is a better life outside of USA without the daily abuses.

As for ourselves, especially those with resources and money, why are you enjoying taking the torture. I am not just asking people in this group the questions. I am asking clients I met especially those with money and resources. Many have taken my advice. My frank and no nonsense approach received praises from clients now live in Asia, enjoying their lives to the fullest and they deserve it.

I will send you a video later by a Chinese girl living in Malaysia who is a history major covering the above in more detail.

Comment by Kenneth J. Hammond Professor of History at New Mexico State University: The history of China is not devoid of violence associated with religious ideas. Popular rebellions often were shaped by millenarian ideas about the intervention of powerful superhuman forces to rectify the injustices of the world. But China, and Easy Asia more broadly, lacks the history ofwars over religious doctrinal disputes, like the Thirty Years War in Europe, ostensibly fought over issues of infant baptism. Outside of Tibet, where monastic lineages clashed over land and resources under the guise of theological differences, we don’t see wars between countries or within societies anything like the chronic bloodshed in Europe over issues within the Catholic church or later between Catholics and Protestants. China’s traditions of spiritual eclecticism avoided the brutalities of European fetishisms. There were plenty of other forms of violence, as the elites of landowning families and commercial profiteers sought to keep working people in their places, but these were fairly straightforward exercises in class power and domination, though often the rebels invoked spiritual rationales. European history is in many ways defined by violence, between emergent ethnic communities, religious groups, economic interests, or the simple lust for power of wealthy strongmen. Europe’s geographic fragmentation was an ideal setting for war and the brutal demonization of the “other” whoever that might be in any particular moment. China was an assimilationist culture, thought that was not always a smooth course. But the tribalism and sectarianism of Europe finds no close parallel in China or East Asia.
