It has created excellent opportunities for people especially Chinese in science & technologies relocating back to China when more than 5,000 had already left Silicon Valley last 3 years, more than 1,400 professors in science and technology at ivory league universities in US left and returned to China in 2021, 1000s more each year expect to follow next 5-10 years.

Someone has suggested if you don’t speak Chinese you can’t worked in China.

More than 15 years ago, when I took US Department of Commerce sponsored trips taking US companies to China to set up business there, we have visited at least a dozen high technology parks throughout China. Those high technology parks were managed by Chinese worked for companies in US & Europe prior to returning to China in their early 40s like Johnson & Johnson, Merk, Intel, AMD, Microsoft and etc. They spoke fluent Chinese, English and European languages. They left US & EU for the following reasons: racial discrimination, glass ceiling, return home to help their motherland (China), family reunion and most want to spend time with their aging parents.

China focus on science and technology means substantial resources will be allocated supported by almost all business and government sectors especially the funding sources will be plentiful.

History has taught us, when Chinese put their mind to it. It is almost a sure win.

中共20屆中央委員會第一次全體會議（一中全會）於10月23日召開，將根據中央政治局常務委員會的提名，通過中央書記處成員，選出新一屆中央政治局委員、中央政治局常務委員會委員、中央委員會總書記。

一中全會結束後，新一屆中央政治局常委中午12時許在人民大會堂金色大廳亮相，與中外記者見面。

大會公布中央政治局常務委員會委員7人名單，分別為習近平（留任）、上海市委書記李強、中央紀律檢查委員會書記趙樂際（留任）、中央書記處書記王滬寧（留任）、北京市委書記蔡奇、中央辦公廳主任丁薛祥，以及中共廣東省委書記李希。依據名單排序，排第1位的習近平連任總書記。

而在中央軍事委員會，習近平當選主席，副主席為張又俠、何衞東，委員包括李尚福、劉振立、苗華、張升民。

Xi Jinping was elected general secretary of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the committee’s first plenary session held on Sunday, according to a communique.

The session, presided over by Xi, was attended by 203 members of the 20th CPC Central Committee and 168 alternate members.

Xi was also named chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission at the session.

The members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee elected at the session are Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang and Li Xi.

Also elected were members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee at the session, which endorsed the members of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat nominated by the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

The session named the members of the Central Military Commission.

The session approved the secretary, deputy secretaries and members of the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) elected at the first plenary session of the 20th CCDI.
